It has a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof and featuring a central brick chimney stack. The cottage is one storey with attics and includes two gabled dormers. There are three 19th-century three-light casement windows and a vertically boarded door on the left. At the rear, there is a single-storey extension. Inside, notable features include chamfered bridging joists, through bracing to the walls, a side purlin roof, some original vertically boarded doors, an inglenook fireplace, and a halved and bladed top plate scarf.
