Description

The house is circa 1780, with a slightly later rear range. It is timber-framed, with an ashlar line plastered over. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are red brick chimney stacks on the right and left. A parapet and central band run along the exterior. The house is two storeys and has attics, with three flat-headed dormers. The front has a five-window range of vertically sliding sashes, with shutters on the ground floor windows. A central flat-headed porch is supported by circular columns with capitals, pilasters with capitals, reveal panels, and a two-panel door with a stained glass top light.
