Description

The White House is a house located on Great Wakering High Street, dating from the 16th to 17th century, with later additions and a 20th-century facing. It is constructed from timber framing and rough render, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The house features external chimney stacks on both the right and left sides and has two storeys. The rear range includes a two-window arrangement of 20th-century four-light leaded casements, with a door located on the right return. Inside, notable features include an exposed timber frame, ceiling beams, bridging joists, and 18th-century doors with original hinges.
