Description
Nos. 73, 75 and 77 on High Street are a row of cottages dating from the 18th to 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and have pebble dash plastering, with weatherboarded returns. The cottages feature a grey slate roof and have two ridge and two rear chimney stacks made of gault brick. The buildings are two storeys high and have a three-window range that includes various casements and vertically sliding sashes. To the left, there is a shop window flanked by side pilasters and topped with a fascia that has a dentilled cornice. The left and central entrances have six-panelled doors with simple surrounds and flat canopies supported by brackets, while the right entrance features a 20th-century door with a similar surround.
