No. 7, High Street is an 18th-century house and shop, with later alterations and additions. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with a gambrelled red plain tiled roof. A red brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre to the right. The property has one storey and attics, featuring a central gabled dormer. A single-storey, 19th-century lean-to shop extension is attached to the left. A small, vertically sliding sash window is located to the right of the facade. The central entrance features a vertically boarded door with a simple surround. A butcher’s shop window is present to the left, incorporating a tiled plinth and a ventilator strip above the window. A door is situated to the left of the shop window, alongside pilasters. A fascia runs over the shop front. The building is included on the list for its group value.
