Description
This table tomb, located adjacent to the east of the south porch of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, dates from 1786 to 1813 and is associated with William Meakens and Leonard Meakens. It is made of white marble with darker panels and features a moulded top slab and plinth supported by two base slabs. The corner panels are adorned with ribbons and swags of oak leaves and acorns, while the design includes rectangular central panels on piers and oval end panels.
