Description

This is a 19th-century wheel pump located approximately 3 metres north of Poplar Grove Farmhouse in Great Totham. It features a cast iron construction with a curved frame, plain spokes, and a wooden handle attached to an iron shaft. Beneath the pump is a stone sink. This wheel pump is noted as an unusual survival in Essex.
