11/219 Shop formerly a butchers shop adjoining No. 19 to the north

Butchers shop. C19. Timber framed and weatherboarded, red pantiled roof. Single storey with gable end to road, the original shop front facing north into a courtyard. Small paned shop windows with central mullions to either side of the central door. This door with vertical slats to upper half and 4 strap hinges on pightle hooks. Twisted S wrought iron brackets support the flat canopy. Right of the door is an iron hanging bar and internally the spiked meat hooks remain attached to the rear wall. An unusually complete survival of a small C19 butcher's shop with original fittings.
