Description

The cartlodge with a loft over, dating from the 18th to 19th century, is located approximately 40 meters north of Langford Hall. It features a timber-framed structure with a vertically boarded rear wall and four open bays on the ground floor. The loft has 20th-century panel plaster and a red plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with a loft, which includes a central gabled hoist loft that retains its original pulley. The walls are supported by through bracing, and the cartlodge is an attractive part of the farmyard complex.
