Description
Old Montsale is an 18th-century house with 19th-century additions. It features a combination of timber framing and weatherboarding, with a red brick facade on the left side. The roofs are covered with red plain tiles. The left section of the house is a single storey with attics, which includes two gabled dormers, while the right section is two storeys high. There are two red brick chimney stacks, one taller than the other. The building has a variety of windows, including casements and small paned vertically sliding sashes, all of which have pentice boards above them. To the left of the two-storey section, there is a gabled weatherboarded porch that has a 20th-century plank and muntin door.
