Description

Small Gains is a house dating from the 19th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a hipped grey slate roof and featuring two red brick chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes with moulded surrounds. The ground floor has pentice boards. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with a light above, a frieze, and a flat canopy supported by large console brackets.
