Description
Beeleigh Falls is a mid-19th century mill house that has been converted into a residence. It is constructed of gault Flemish-bond brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped well roof with four stacks of varying heights.
The exterior consists of two storeys and a five-window range. The eaves are supported by console brackets and there is a stone band beneath these brackets. On the first floor, there is a central tripartite window with stone mullions, flanked by two 2-light casements on each side, all featuring margin-glazing. A stone string band runs between the storeys and above a felted tent-roofed verandah, which is supported by cast-iron openwork supports decorated with anthemion motifs and linked by segmental arches.
The ground floor behind the verandah has four 2-light margin-glazed casements, each with fanlights above, and a central margin-glazed door with a moulded panel and narrow sidelights. The north-west elevation features three 12-pane sash windows on the first floor, while the ground floor has two similar windows and a cant-sided bay with a hipped slate roof, containing margin-glazed fixed or casement windows on each face. The south-east elevation consists of three bays with similar windows.
A rear service wing has a lower eaves level and a hipped slate roof, with simple casements and door openings. The interior has not been inspected.
