Description

Chapmans Bridge is an early 19th-century canal accommodation bridge located on the Chelmer-Blackwater Navigation in Heybridge, Maldon. It is constructed from cream Gault brick and features a red-brick curving string band beneath each parapet. The bridge has an elliptical or deformed semicircular arch and slightly projecting piers at each approach.
