Description

This barn, located approximately 50 metres east of Moynes Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, sitting on a red brick plinth. The roof is clad in corrugated iron. The barn features an off-centre gabled midstrey with double vertically boarded doors and consists of six bays. The walls are supported by through bracing, and the roof includes side purlins and a ridgeboard, with bolted hanging knees connecting to the tie beams.
