Description

This barn, located approximately 40 metres east of The Shrubbery, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, topped with a red pantiled roof. The barn features a gabled midstrey with double vertically boarded doors and has through bracing on its walls. The roof structure includes a side purlin ridge board. A weathercock is situated on the gable of the midstrey. The barn forms part of the eastern side of the former farmyard and is included for its group value with the house and coach house.
