Description
This barn and the attached outbuildings, located approximately 50 metres east of Hill Farmhouse, date from the 18th and 19th centuries. The structure features a combination of timber framing and weatherboarding, with a red brick plinth. The exposed timber frame is visible on the road-facing side of the outbuilding, which also includes some red brick elements. The roofs are covered with red pantiles. The barn has a central gabled midstrey leading to the stockyard and two double vertically boarded doors facing the road. It comprises seven bays and features through bracing in the walls, along with a side purlin and ridge board roof. This building is included for its group value.
