Description

Number 4, Old Road is a mid-19th century house that stands two storeys tall and features three bays made of painted brick laid in Flemish bond. The roof is ridged and slated, with eaves and three end chimney stacks topped with decorative octagonal ceramic pots. On the first storey, there is a range of three hornless small paned sash windows, which have modern shutters on the outside. The central front door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a flat hood supported by bold brackets. There are leaded matching sashes on either side of the doorway, all of which are set under straight gauged arches.
