Description
The Old Forge is a 16th-century timber-framed building, originally listed as Forge House. It has been plastered with a ridge, gables, and eaves roof covered in peg tiles, with a hipped roof at the west end. The first storey features two small-paned sash windows on the left and two small-paned casement windows to the right. A plain-cased doorway is located centrally, with small-paned sash windows on either side. A projecting wing extends to the right, clad in painted weatherboards and incorporating a semi-hexagonal bay window of full width, with small-paned glazing. This wing is roofed with ridged and gabled peg tiles.
