Description

Mulberry Green House and Stables is a late 18th-century house accompanied by contemporary stables. The house is two storeys and three bays wide, constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. It features two full-height, semi-circular bow windows. The first-floor brickwork forms a parapet. The roofs are hipped and covered with peg tiles. The hornless sash windows within the bow windows are small-paned and form semi-hexagons, with flat sections; the exposed boles of these windows have rounded tops. The central doorway is topped by an open pediment supported by columns that are reeded on the upper half and have composite capitals. The door itself consists of six fielded panels. A central Diocletian-style sash window is located on the first storey. The attached stables retain original features.
