Description

No. 88 Lambourne Road is a house built in the late 18th century, with extensions added in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick, with the front and sides covered in stucco and the rear painted. It has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The house is aligned approximately northwest to southeast and faces southwest, featuring internal chimney stacks at both ends and a 19th-century external chimney stack on the rear wall.

At the back, there is a single-storey lean-to extension that runs the entire length of the rear, clad with weatherboards and topped with red clay Roman tiles from the 20th century. The house has two storeys with attics. On the ground floor, there is a tiled hipped bay window from the 20th century, a four-panel door with the upper panels glazed, and one double-hung sash window with 16 lights from the early 19th century. The first floor features three late 19th-century casement windows. The building has a gambrel roof with two 19th-century casement windows set in flat-roofed dormers.
