Description
No. 15 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th-century additions at the rear. It is constructed of red brick and has a stucco finish, topped with a steeply pitched tiled roof. The building features four bays and is two storeys high.
On the ground floor, the entrance is located to the left of centre and consists of a six-panelled door with upper glazing, framed by an architrave that has a moulded hood supported by shaped brackets. There are small canted bay windows from the 19th or 20th century flanking the entrance, and to the right, there is a blind opening with a segmental head.
The first floor has two-light small pane casements positioned above the bay windows, along with blind openings above the door and to the right. A projecting brick course runs along the eaves. There are end stacks located in front of the ridge. At the rear, there is a 19th-century continuous weatherboarded lean-to that has a shallower pitch and a slate roof. Additionally, there is a one-storey weatherboarded outbuilding situated to the rear left. The interior has not been inspected.
