Description
The building comprises a pair of houses at 19 and 19A High Street, dating from the early 19th century and altered in the late 19th century. The front is of white brick with panelled roughcast plaster. It has a tiled roof and is four bays wide. The houses are two storeys high, with entrances between each pair of bays leading to panelled doors. The ground floor windows are 8-pane sashes, and the first floor windows are 4-pane sashes, all recessed with cambered heads. A sashed canted bay window addition is located to the left of the centre on the ground floor, supported on curved brackets and with a cornice to a flat head. A red brick axial ridge stack is central, with a white brick stack on the left-hand end. The right-hand end is stuccoed with a ground floor bay window addition. A slate-roofed lean-to addition extends to the rear left. The interior has not been inspected. The building was formerly the Three Horseshoes Public House.
