Description

Heathfield Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It has a timber frame with plaster and features a gabled thatched roof, which is divided into two sections. The northern half includes peg tiles and two gabled dormers. The building is one storey with attics, and it has a large lean-to at the rear covered with peg tiles, as well as a single-storey gabled block to the south. The windows are 19th-century casements with a single horizontal glazing bar. There is one small stack at the ridgeline and a larger stack on the southern gable end.
