Shop, formerly house. C15 build, C18 and C19 details. Rendered facade, tiled roofs, timber framed structure largely surviving at ground and first floor. 2 storeys with attics, 2 window range. Ground floor has exposed jetty beams of original timber encased in C1840 shop front with architrave surround and angle paterae to windows. C19 brackets above, dentillated cornice, C20 plastic shop fascia lettering. Jettied first floor has 2 plate glass sashes. Blank second floor. Half-hipped roof with central gabled dormer. Interior: ground floor has transverse chamfered bridging beam and close set tenoned-in joists. First floor has one exposed and 3 encased angle jowled posts, rest of frame largely intact. Narrow site reflects medieval development and burgage plots of High Street.
