Description

Vernon's is a large house dating from the 16th century, with a complex plan. The south wing is timber-framed and extends two storeys with a range of four windows. The walls are plastered, and the windows are hornless sashes with eight panes, some of which have been replaced. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg-tiled, and features a red brick chimney stack positioned centrally on the south gable.
