Description

Forge Cottage is a mid-19th century house located at Whalebone Corner. It is constructed of painted brick and features a low-pitched slate roof with ridges and gables, along with two inset end chimneys. On the first storey, there is a range of three paned sash windows in hornless frames. The ground storey has a central door flanked by matching sashes on either side, all in exposed boxes. The building is adorned with a dentilled brick eaves cornice.
