Description
Glebe House is a house dating from around 1800. It is two storeys high and has three bays, constructed of gault brick with stone trim and eaves. The centre bay on the north front is recessed and features pilastered returns with capitals that suggest a Giant Order style. The first floor has a board and plinth set within a dwarf wall, topped with moulded stone coping. There are three paned and hornless sash windows on the first storey, with matching sash windows on the left and right of the ground storey. The ground storey also includes a portico in the recess, which has a flat entablature supported by two Ionic columns. The roof is slate, hipped, and there are gault brick chimney stacks. There are extensive 19th-century additions of two storeys to the east.
