Description

Ewens Farmhouse is a 16th century house that has been modified over time. It is designed in an L-shape and is framed in timber with plastered walls, featuring ridged and gabled roofs covered in peg tiles. The farmhouse has three red brick chimneys, with one located centrally on the west front. There is a high-set gabled dormer on the roof and a range of three pairs of multi-paned casement windows above a matching set on the ground floor, where the central window is set within a flat plastered porch. Additionally, there is a single-storey lean-to on the north end, which is clad in slate.
