Description
Mulberry House is an 18th-century house constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. It has two storeys and features a gambrelled roof covered with pegtile, which includes two flat dormers and two end chimney stacks. The central door on the ground floor is set within a pedimented case, flanked by fluted wooden pilasters. On either side of the door are small-paned sash windows in exposed boxes. A string course runs along the first floor, which has a range of three matching sash windows, topped with a dentilled brick eaves cornice. The windows are adorned with straight gauged arches, and some internal shutters are still present. At the rear, there is a 19th-century red brick addition with a hipped, slated roof, which is two storeys high and has a square plan. The property also features 19th-century railings and a gate at the front.
