Description

Knowles Farmhouse is a house with a front elevation dating from around 1800, featuring a complex plan that incorporates earlier structures. The front is plastered and has a central front door made up of six fielded panels, which is set in a reeded case with a flat hood and fusil decoration. On either side of the door, there is a pair of six-pane hornless sash windows. The first storey has three smaller sash windows. The roof is ridged and hipped, covered with peg tiles, and has eaves.
