Description

Mott's Cottage is a small house dating from around 1500. Originally, it had four bays and an open hall. The building is timber framed and plastered, featuring a ridged and gabled roof covered with peg tiles. It is now a single-storey structure with attics and has a central plastered chimney stack. A modern front porch has been added. The ground floor includes a range of five modern casement windows, and there are two gabled dormers on the north front. Inside, there is a crown-post roof frame.
