Description

This is a 16th-century barn located north of the farmyard at Hoe Farm in Aldham. The barn is timber framed and clad with black weatherboards, featuring three bays and a south-facing midstrey. It has jowled main posts, side-firts, flat studs, and arch-braced tiebeams. The barn was re-roofed during the 18th century and is currently covered with corrugated asbestos, with a ridged and gabled roof.
