Description
Church House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house that was formerly known as 'Church House' and is located adjacent to the churchyard of the Church of St Margaret and St Catherine. The front section is constructed of gault brick and features eaves and a slated gabled roof, with pilastered end returns and a chimney stack on each gable. The first floor has four sash windows with 6, 6, 6, and 8 panes, all without horns and set under straight gauged heads. The ground floor has matching windows and the front door, which is positioned below the third top window. The door has a glazed top with marginal bars and a wide wooden cane with a flat hood supported on consoles. All window sills are made of stone. At the rear, there are two wings, with the northern wing being timber framed and plastered.
