Description

Peakes is a house dating from around 1600, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It has two storeys and is designed in an L-plan layout. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg-tiles, and feature two red brick chimney stacks—one located on the return and the other against the north gable. Some 17th-century plaster remains visible in the north-east corner. The windows have been replaced with modern metal casements, and the floor timbers are exposed in the ceilings of the ground storey.
