Description

  1. ALDHAM GREEN LANE 5214 Bentalls Cottages TL 92 NW 7/53 II 2. Dated 1615. Timber framed building of one storey and attics with hipped and ridged roof clad with machined tiles. Windows modern casements and elevations rendered. Chimney stacks rebuilt. Inside the framing is of 2 types, heavy original building with open hall and circa 1615 light oak framing of its lateral division. The lodged floor-joists of one original storeyed end survive in situ at the west end.
