Description
The Hall is an 18th-century building located on West Bergholt Hall Road. It is a three-storey structure made of red brick, featuring seven sash windows and a slate-clad ridge and gable roof that is set behind parapets. The building has two chimneys at each end and two more at the rear of the ridge. The main front, facing east, includes a central bay with a pediment, three windows wide, and a wide circular recess in the gable. The second storey showcases a central Diocletian window and three pairs of sash windows in exposed boxes. The ground storey features a central door beneath an open pediment supported by two Ionic half-round columns, with a semi-circular fanlight above the door that has six fielded panels. There are three pairs of small-pane sash windows in exposed boxes on either side, with stone sills under all windows. Additionally, circular iron wall-anchors are present to support the floors.
