Description
Cooks Hall is a medieval house with additions from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, built in a much-extended L-plan. The north elevation features three bays and two storeys, showcasing an exposed timber frame. At the rear, there is a long range with a peg-tiled roof that is gabled to the east and hipped at the return on the west. The L-plan structure includes two builds with a broken ridge-line. The east face displays heavy timber framing, while the ground storey is plastered. A central chimney stack is positioned in the second build. The building has side-girts and primary bracing. The central front door on the ground storey consists of six fielded panels set in an eared case that is dentilled and hooded. The windows are modern.
