The White House is an early 19th century house located on Birch Mill Lane. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a grey slate hipped roof. The building is two storeys high and features a two-window range with double hung, vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. The house has a double range plan, with a rear range that is a late 19th century extension made of red brick, also two storeys tall and with a grey slate hipped roof.
