Description

Heath House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Layer Breton. It is constructed of painted brick and has two storeys topped with a grey slate hipped roof. The house features a three-window range with double-hung, vertical sliding sashes that have glazed margins. At the centre, there is a doorcase adorned with pilasters and a moulded canopy, leading to a six-panel door. The building has a square plan and includes internal grey gault chimney stacks. Some original detailing can still be found inside, although modern louvred shutters have been added.
