Description
Brock's Farmhouse is a 15th to 16th century timber-framed and plastered house featuring a cross wing at the east end. Although it has undergone many alterations, it still retains its framed structure. The main block has one storey with attics, while the cross wing is two storeys tall. The house has casement windows and a tiled roof, which includes one gabled dormer on the north side and two large 20th-century gabled dormers on the south side. The roof over the cross wing is nipped. Inside, the farmhouse showcases good moulded ceiling beams and exposed timber framing, with one room featuring a panelled dado. The main block also has an original king post roof.
