Description

Lorkins Farmhouse is a 15th-century house that is timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tile roof that is hipped at the east end. The building has two storeys and includes a jettied and gabled crosswing at the west end. There are three windows, which consist of 19th-century and modern casements, along with two gabled dormers. The first-floor gable of the crosswing displays exposed timber framing. A modern gabled porch, also with a red plain tile roof, has been added. The farmhouse has red brick chimney stacks that date from the 17th century and later.
