Description

Conways Farmhouse is a mid to late 18th century house located on Conway's Road in Orsett. The building is constructed of brick and timber framing, with a plastered finish and a red plain tile hipped roof. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range of double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The central entrance has a doorcase adorned with panelled pilasters and a flat hood supported by shaped brackets, along with a rectangular fanlight and a panelled door. Inside, there is an original staircase that includes stick balusters and a moulded handrail.
