Description

Old Hall Farm House is a late 15th century or early 16th century house that is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building features a gabled and jettied east side and stands two storeys tall. The south front has a two-window range of 19th century double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The first floor and the east front retain original mullioned windows. The timber frame is exposed on the exterior, with part of the south side underbuilt in 19th century brick. The gable tie beam is moulded and crenellated. There is an early 17th century two-storey extension that is faced in 19th century yellow stock brick but is fundamentally timber-framed, also featuring a two-window range of 19th century double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. A red brick chimney stack from the 17th century is present as well.
