Description

Elm Farmhouse is a late 16th century house that is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range with modern casements. Originally, the house had a jettied front elevation that has since been partially underbuilt. It has a rectangular plan consisting of three bays and a chimney bay. The 16th century chimney stack has been rebuilt at the top in the 19th century. Inside, the frame is partially exposed and includes jowled storey posts and stop-chamfered beams.
