Description

The Maypole Public House is a late 17th-century building that underwent extensive alterations in the early 19th century. It features a combination of brick and timber framing that is plastered. The structure is two stories high and has a grey slate hipped roof. The front has three modern casement windows, along with two ground floor bay windows from the 19th century, which have vertical sliding double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The door surrounds are simple, with moulded heads and architraves. Inside, some of the original framing is exposed.
