Description

Orsett Mill House is a 15th-century or early 16th-century house, originally timber-framed and weatherboarded with a red plain tile roof. It has one storey and attics, with a two-storey gabled and jettied crosswing at the west end. The house features a two-window range of 19th-century casement windows. A 17th-century feature gable is located above the first-floor east window. The central door has a simple 18th-century surround, complete with a carved cornice hood supported by brackets.
