Description

The Wilderness is an early 18th century house that features a combination of brick and timber framing, with a plastered exterior. It has a red plain tile roof and is arranged over two storeys with attics. The building has a T-plan layout, with a later wing added at the rear. There are two window ranges that contain double hung vertical sliding sashes and two gabled dormers. The central door is topped with a wooden eaves cornice, and the house retains its original red brick end chimney stacks.
