Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a 15th-century house that is timber framed and plastered, topped with red plain tile roofs. The building has two storeys and features a gabled and jettied crosswing at the north end. It has a three:one window arrangement with casements and a black weatherboarded plinth. The cottage includes 16th and 19th-century red brick chimney stacks. Inside, most of the original frame is preserved, showcasing jowled storey posts, cambered tie beams, and crown post roofs.
