Description
Little Sir Hughes is an early 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that has a core dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has two storeys and attics, with casement windows. The outer windows feature shallow splayed bays. The front of the house is distinguished by a bold modillion cornice that extends over the bays. There is a central six-panel door that is framed by a heavily rusticated surround and topped with a pediment. The roof is tiled and nipped, featuring one hipped dormer on the south front and one on both the east and west sides. Inside, the house contains 18th century panelling and doors.
