Description

Malting Farmhouse is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that features 18th century external details. The building has two storeys and a five-window range, with two-light casements on the upper storey and some double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars and cornices. A central doorway is topped with a moulded wood cornice. The roof is tiled and has an old square chimney stack along with a wooden eaves cornice. A small wing extends to the north from the main block, which includes a gabled dormer on the east side.
